Small Business Administration Disaster Loan Outreach Center to Open in Berea Homeowners, renters and businesses who suffered damages or losses due to the severe storms, flooding and mudslides of July 17 to July 30, 2010 may qualify for a disaster loan from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). To apply for assistance or to get more information, Madison County residents and business owners may visit the SBA’s temporary Disaster Loan Outreach Center for one-on-one assistance. The SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center is located in the Berea City Hall at 212 Chestnut Street, Berea, Ky.SBA OUTREACH OFFICE HOURS Opening : Monday, August 23 at 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.Open: Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.Closing: Thursday, September 2 at the close of businessIndividuals and businesses unable to visit the Center in person may obtain information and loan applications by calling the SBA’s Customer Service Center at 1-800-659-2955 (1-800-877-8339 for the hearing impaired), or apply for disaster loans from the SBA’s secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela/Businesses may download an application at www.sba.gov/services/disasterassistance. The deadline for physical damage applications is September 21, 2010.
